Lake circuit from Maloja

Lägh da Bitabergh and Lägh da Cavloc

This pretty hiking tour starts at Maloja and continues via Lägh da Bitabergh and Lägh da Cavloc back to Maloja. Starting at the parking area (turn left at the first sharp turn on the street into the Bergell valley), you can choose between two hiking trails that lead to Lägh Bitabergh: Either you will head towards the idyllic lake via the smugglers' route or you can take the regular hiking route, and wonderful landscapes and splendid natural settings await you on both paths.

Our tip: At Lägh da Bitabergh, there's a convenient fire pit area where you can enjoy a barbeque. If you're on the go with a baby buggy, then you can also just enjoy a comfortable walk from Maloja to Lägh da Cavloc and back again.
