An impressive natural phenomenon
Big, bigger, gigantic. The Cavaglia Glacier Mills (past Bernina, towards Poschiavo), also called "The Giant's Pots", were created by the Palü Glacier. From the Rhaetian Railway station in Cavaglia, you can reach the Glacier Garden after a ten-minute walk.
The impressive trail takes you past impressive glacial potholes, which were formed over thousands of years by glacial water, debris and gravel. In addition to the many interesting facts about the glacier pots, you can also learn more about the vegetation in the Glacier Garden. Another highlight is the spectacular viewpoint of the Valposchiavo and the mountain massif.
Children between the age of 5 and 12 can take the picture book of Grummo (a likeable character from the Puschlaver myths) story with them on the circular trail. At the display boards in the Glacier Garden there are matrices with which the children can make stamps in their booklets.
Once all the stamps have been collected, the children can present their booklet to the Poschiavo Tourist Information Office and receive a small surprise gift.
